About Us

Introducing WindWorks! Northwest

Who are we?

We are Northwest citizens who think globally and act locally. We believe that the number of wind power plants in the Northwest needs to expand because more wind power means less CO2 emissions and greater U.S. energy security.

What do we do?

We help the sponsors of wind power projects secure the permits they need to build their projects. We educate communities and their leadership about the benefits of wind power. And, when necessary, we lend our voices to counter the arguments of those who oppose projects because they selfishly don't want them in their back yard.

How can you get involved?

WindWorks! needs people to be well educated about wind power in the Northwest. Email us at info@wwnw.org and ask to be put on our mailing list. We'll send you updates on the latest developments in wind power in the Northwest and information on what you can do to help well-conceived wind power projects win the government approvals they need to be built.
